I wanted to design a type specimen, I had this itch, but which one? Maybe was going to try for one that I have created, Helvellyn or Gothic, but I felt like I already had to much of an influence over the type. I was scrolling Adobe Fonts and I stumbled across a beautiful serif font - New Atlas by @newlynfoundry

Is I read a blog created about the history and inspiration behind the type, it told the story that the type itself grew from the type specimens, this information was key in crafting this short piece. I wanted to display the text in a manner which was applicable to the 1900’s, the text tells the story of the foundry and history of foundry’s in England.
