I decided to take part in @creativebloom brief competition, in which I created this identity for a New York book store, the difference is, it only opens at night, doors open at 8pm and shut when the last customer is ready to leave. My approach aims to capture the area’s history and culture, while reinterpreting it through a contemporary visual system.

I decided to approach this a little differently, rather then falling into the cliche, cosy, nighttime brand, I wanted to be conscious of the environment and the story I was telling, Lower East side is full of 80’s/90’s neon lights and busy type banners, which inspired by the type system.
