Giving a forgotten Welsh landmark an heritage brand identity. The emphasis on this project is the use of imagery and colour blocks, simulating the idea of the place being ‘forgotten’ visually, hinting to the tourist or natives to view it themselves, rather then a simple image online. I showcased this through foggy paper and colour blocks.

I wanted to use a dual-languages throughout the work, highlighting the culture around Ynys Môn, but prioritising Welsh, as that is the most spoken language on the isle. I used a nostalgia and quirky serif, inspired by the typography on historic maritime maps, and paired it with a hyper-legible monospaced typeface, also hinting back to the printed maritime documents.
