This was the work I submitted into D&AD, a Monotype brief, which suggested the future of typography, I must admit I did this project at the same time as my TfC, so there was some clear inspiration.

Throughout this project, I wanted to explore how an accent and the emphasis on the word can visually change how the word can be read, I obviously chose the Cumbrian Accent, as a Cumbrian. I got accent examples from Southern English, Welsh, Brummie, Scottish, Cumbrian, Shropshire and Geordie, in which I put them against each other and created customised type.
