Experimental re-imaginging of Public library cards

I thought I’d try a different approach then a brand identity, so I scoured the internet and found public library cards.
Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, I used bold colours and a simplified book case, mixed with bold grotesk typographic, looks similar to the NYC metro design.

Columbus Metropolitan Library, inspired by the rough gradient strokes on the original, I put my own spin on the vintage card by mixing the new colours and bold display type.
Greater Access, A rouge one, the original in my eyes is a strange combination, I went for something similar, a bold bright look (just an alternative version!) I created a small Greater access wordmark and complimented it with the bold green.
Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library, I wanted a warm, playful tone, similar to the original, so I went for a bold all-caps typeface and an even simpler sun shine.
